<b>Ask on Lists for other peoples' experience with the drugs</b>. This might be LMS lists, or another list whose cancer is also treated by that drug. 

<b>Discuss with your family doctor or local oncologist as well as family and/or friends</b>. Discussion is very useful, because when you try to explain to someone else, it becomes clear where you have gaps in knowledge that need to be filled.
