My last chemo cycle (AIM) was in July of last year, but I have continued to feel dumb! The chemo-brain phenomenon that started with the treatment is still with me (forgetfulness, inability to focus sometime, not following multi-step instructions, dullness of reflexes, and shying away from complex and pressured situations). Recently, I had a brain MRI and a battery of neuropsychology tests; they were normal and did not show any structural damage...I do however, feel that I've gone through a mini lobotomy... Your reply encouraged me to give voice to my concern. I hope others with similar experience will share. [from a posting by a male list member]
